I have heard many times over the years that the music I listen to sounds "so angry". How can that music be Christian music it's so heavy? Well my answer is usually, "have you listened to the lyrics?" The lyrics in Christian music are fundamentally superior to secular music plain and simple. They have a deeper meaning than that of any other style of music. I'm sorry if you think that partying for the weekend, having a great time, breaking up with your significant other, or any other mindless activity rises to the level of eternal life and the struggle to get there, it just doesn't. I'm not even sure if this is my opinion or if it's just common sense.
